TRI-COUNTY DIVERS DOWN

SUNDAY, MAT 11, 2008

NO DIVING – BAD WEATHER

 NO BOARD MEETING

 The meeting was called to order by President Heather.

 Roll call by Cheryl Benjamin.  7 members were present.

 SECRETARY’S REPORT:  Cheryl read the minutes of the April meeting.  Bonnie moved to accept minutes, seconded by Sarah.  Motion carried

 TREASURER’S REPORT:  Balance in checking is $368.60.  Jim F. motioned to accept treasurer’s report, seconded by Sarah.  Motion carried.

 ACTIVITIES DIRECTOR’S REPORT:  The club cannon move van at Strode Lake on May 24 since there will be too many activities at the Lake.  The club will reset buoys and lines on that day instead.  The van will be scheduled for July 20.  We will have a club meeting that day.

 MEMBERS ACTIVITY:  No report.

 OLD BUSINESS:  Jim F. estimates that the materials for a 12’x12’ platform at Strode Lake will be $248.63, using standard treated lumber.  Ron has the other materials that will be needed.

The club discussed changing the menu for the Scavenger Hunt.  We will be serving sloppy joes instead of hamburgers and hot dogs.  Heather and Jim F. will purchase chafing dishes for serving.  Bonnie will make the sloppy joes.

NEW BUSINESS:  None

Adjourn 1:45.  Sarah moved to adjourn, seconded by Bonnie.  No activity.  We ate lunch.

Next Meeting:  Sunday, June 15.  Scavenger Hunt at Strode Lake.

Membership is $15.00 single, $25.00 family per year. Dues can be mailed to Bonnie Jennings, 539 Knox Rd 600 N, Abingdon, IL  61410.
